Our Story

I built Skillify because my friends needed it.

I moved from Pakistan to Palo Alto at age 7. While classmates had summer programs and family connections, I babysat. Started working at 12 because I had to.

By the time I entered college, I had six years of work experience and a network I built myself. I assumed everyone else did too. They didn't.

So I built Skillify to teach what my friends and I had to learn the hard way: your value is more than your GPA.

Our mission: help young people build meaningful lives by sparking career-curiosity and follow through.
